Project Summary:
WONDERY (An Amazon company) is one of the largest podcast publishers in the US. They became the fastest network to join the Top 10 Ranks by Podtrac, propelled by hit shows such as Dr. Death, Dirty John, American History Tellers, Business Wars, Hollywood & Crime, and Gladiator.
For their best-selling show, Business Wars, the Wondery team aspired to produce a series of promos for all its episodes.
We initiated a production spree to highlight the real personal stories of competing CEOs and brands such as Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Netflix, Blockbuster, McDonald's, and Burger King, with different, distinctive creative styles for each piece, producing well-crafted, eye-catching animations.
The project received many awards and was featured on Ads of the World. Now, let's dive in.

About the brutal business battle between Netflix and Blockbuster, and later HBO. It all started around 1997 with Marc Randolph and his mathematician friend Reed Hastings. Randolph and Hastings knew they'd have to take on Blockbuster, but they didn't anticipate their business model would take on network television and eventually change the entire movie industry.
